How do we do this?

Improving Performance
by Liquid Cooling All Systems

Achieving optimal performance in gyro systems necessitates effective cooling methods. However, traditional approaches result in limitations.

Let’s explore the drawbacks of conventional cooling methods and introduce the advantages of liquid cooling, particularly in Wavetamer's gyro systems.

Limitations of Conventional Cooling Methods

First generation gyro systems either spin in air (sea level) or partial air (90 Torr), leading to significant aerodynamic drag that hampers performance.

Second generation systems that operate in a high vacuum, still encounter cooling issues due to inefficient air cooling inside the sphere, resulting in prolonged waiting period before and after use.

Imagine getting in your car and having to sit there for 45 minutes before you can drive away. That is how we tried to think about your precious time on the water.

Revolutionizing Performance and Longevity

WaveTamer has revolutionized gyro performance by implementing liquid cooling of the inner race of the bearing as well as the outer race of the bearing.

Because liquid is 100X better than air at cooling; the heat comes out of the bearing so fast when locked (2 min to cold) and spinning down, we can quickly brake down to off while maintaining an even temperature differential across both bearing races, thus avoiding damage.

Every other gyro manufacturer needs hours to spin down to avoid damaging bearings due to extremely different rates of cooling of the inner race versus the outer race.

Our Super High Output (SHO) electric motor puts off less heat than the industry leader’s tiny motor because we liquid cool it as well.  This unlocks ridiculous performance advantages ... so enormous it’s almost unfair.

This innovative approach eliminates the waiting time associated with traditional gyro systems, providing users with immediate functionality and quiet operation.

Advantages

Rapid Spin-Down and Off

WaveTamer's liquid cooling technology enables gyro systems to spin down and shut off within 15 minutes, a stark contrast to the hours required by conventional systems.

This fast spin-down process ensures minimal disruption to users' activities and surroundings, providing a quiet and peaceful experience on the water.

Think this isn’t important? Imagine these scenarios:

WaveTamer is down and off in about 15 minutes giving you fast peace and quiet.  Waiting becomes a thing of the past.

Conclusion

With WaveTamer's liquid cooling technology, the days of waiting hours for gyro systems to spin down are over. By prioritizing efficiency and user experience, WaveTamer has set a new standard for gyro performance, offering unparalleled convenience and reliability to boaters worldwide.
